About Dr. Timur Davydov, DPM
Dr. Davydov is a skilled foot and ankle physician servicing Foot Healer’s Brentwood clinic. Originally born overseas in the city of Baku, Azerbaijan before his family relocated to New York City when he was just two years old, Dr. Davydov is a native of The Big Apple. He first became interested in the medical field during his high school years and later was drawn to podiatry due to the balance of surgical and conservative treatment options the field could offer. Dr. Davydov proceeded with his undergraduate study in New York City before enrolling at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 2014. In his four years of medical school, Dr. Davydov developed a love for the field that he now builds on with each working day. In addition to the clinical and surgical education he received, Dr. Davydov was involved as a member of the Student Government as well as a mentor helping younger classmates assimilate to the medical school setting via the Big Brother/Big Sister program.
Dr. Davydov completed his three-year surgical residency program in Brooklyn, NY at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center where he received extensive training in elective, reconstructive, and traumatic rearfoot and ankle surgery. He was exposed to a wide variety of pathology ranging from sports medicine injuries, pediatrics, as well as diabetic foot infections, limb salvage and wound care. In his final year of residency, in addition to being appointed as chief resident of the program leading a team of sixteen total residents, Dr. Davydov led weekly discussions on journal articles, hosted a group peer review of recent surgical cases, as well as gave lectures to his team of co-residents in a variety of topics regarding the management of foot and ankle injuries.
After completing his residency training in 2021, Dr. Davydov decided to leave the big city behind and has loved spending the past four years practicing in the Midwest. He is passionate about his career, and his favorite part of the job is making a lasting connection with all of his patients. He is committed to finding a solution that works for each and every patient that he sees and is grateful to now be serving all the podiatric needs of the greater St. Louis community.
