Dr. Ahmed is a Texas native who earned his doctorate in podiatric medicine at Kent State University and then completed his residency training at the Dayton VA Medical Center. As an undergraduate at Texas A&M University—Commerce, Dr. Ahmed was a starter on their 2009 Lone Star Conference Championship team and conference standout receiving that year’s conference Special Teams Player of the Year.
His residency training prepared him for all facets of podiatry including the treatment of plantar fasciitis, tendon disorders, wound care, and diabetic foot care, just to name a few. Through his training in both hospital and clinical environments, Dr. Ahmed has a great appreciation for taking a conservative approach to treatment with a strong belief that a simpler plan is more likely to lead to the most successful outcome with patient involvement.
In his free time, Dr. Ahmed likes to spend time with his family hiking, fishing, and reading.
