"I've been having major heel pain (plantar fasciitis) for months based on working out. I went to my regular doctor and didn't get any relief, so decided I needed a specialist.  Getting an appointment was no problem and the person I dealt with was friendly and nice. I LOVE that they have hours til 6pm.  I really liked Dr. Balettie. She was friendly and efficient and didn't mind touching my feet! She gave me some recommendations and products, and sent me home.They start small to see if it works, and work up to different treatments if the first try doesn't help.

"So...it really pains me to say this. Literally and figuratively. I ran a wonderful (but painful!) half marathon a few weeks ago. My foot started aching around mile 2, but like any crazy runner, I kept going for the entire 13.1 miles. At the end of the race, my foot was THROBBING. Not sure if it was normal or not, I waited until the next day to see if the pain would subside. It did, but it was still a little painful to walk.

Freaking out, I called Foot Healers for an appointment. They were able to take me that same day, and Dr. Balettie was SO amazing. She told me that while my foot wasn't broken, judging by my symptoms, it seemed like I had the makings of a stress fracture. Oh, joy. She wrapped my foot, put me in a boot, and told me no physical activity (except for swimming) for 2 weeks. After wiping away my tears (yes, I was flipping out!) , she gave me a lot of information on stress fractures: what causes them, how to prevent them, what I'm doing right (and wrong), etc.

Two weeks later, I am pain free, and I was able to take off the boot. I still can't run for a few weeks, but that's okay (for now). Dr. Balettie and her staff know their stuff when it comes to feet. I fully trust her, but hopefully I'll never have to see her again! No more stress fractures *fingers crossed*

Oh, and the facility has tons of orthotics, compression socks, shoe inserts, etc. for your feet. And the hours are great! Mon-Friday 9am-6pm...you really can't beat that!"

When I arrived at your Olive Street location, the office manager could not have been more sweet, friendly, and caring. Dr. Denton examined my foot, took the x-rays, fitted my shoes with pads for supporting my feet, and then explained the exercises I should do. He was incredible too. I wish all the doctors I see had his empathetic "bed-side" manner - taking time to understand my problem and helping me to resolve it in such a professional and caring way. All of the people I met at Foot Healers were so authentic, caring, empathetic, and friendly.
