He began competitive running when he and his twin brother completed their first half marathon in Des Moines, Iowa.  Since then, he has participated in several 5Ks, 10Ks, half and full marathons and even a 50-mile trail run.

Specializing in sports-related injuries and ailments, Dr. Denton puts his passion for exercise and understanding of related injuries to good use treating his patients. Since no one wants to be told that they have to limit their exercise, Dr. Denton helps his patients find effective solutions to their foot and ankle problems so they can be back in action in no time.

What gives Dr. Denton the most gratification? When a patient returns for a follow-up visit and says that the pain is completely gone.

Dr. Denton’s number one recommendation is to listen to your feet.  Foot pain is not normal, so see a doctor when experiencing prolonged discomfort.  By proactively treating the pain, patients will avoid having small issues turn into large problems.
