Excellence In Education And Training
Dr. Hewitt is a native of Terre Haute, Indiana and is a graduate of Indiana State University.  He received his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from the Barry University School of Graduate Medical Sciences in Miami, Florida.

During his postdoctoral training at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida, Dr. Hewitt served as the Chief Resident. 

Actively Involved In The Podiatric Profession
Dr. Hewitt has received advanced training in forefoot and rearfoot reconstruction as well as in wound care and diabetic limb salvage.  Dr. Hewitt has also been active in podiatric research, including two pending journal case studies on diabetic foot infections and digital amputations.

Dr. Hewitt is a diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is also a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Missouri Podiatric Medical Association. He is on staff at several St. Louis area hospitals.

Dr. Hewitt has always enjoyed community service such as with his participation in building three homes for Habitat for Humanity and with his participation in the Feast of Plenty program to provide food, clothing and healthcare to the homeless.
